Dungreed weapon rarity12/31/2023 Both muramasa and SB have little value in hardmode or when you get used to the game. Muramasa is poor in both burst and consistent dmg, it doesnt really fit any role well except for a easy to use weapon in most of the cases.īS can be a nice find, but it doesnt worth to bring into the dungeon since it takes 1 of the only 2 rare/legendaries u can bring, also it wont do much in hardmode by itself. Hecate by itself is a weapon that can assure you gonna get past Niff, the weapon is good to clear rooms and the reload is only an issue when swap quick shooting, wich it excels anyways, since the fire animation and reload time is pretty much the same. I love the rage mode of the bear, it just works great with most weapons. Combined with Alice/Criminal or/and wing+springs it can one shot most stuff and is one of the few options of ranged burst you can get in the game. Korean Dungreed Wiki (Google translate link inside). I dont really like it, but it is one of the "sure win" combos for hardmode. Having a good set/combo instead of SB+random relic is aways better. If i take SB, even without using mystic, i can only beat the whole hardmode if i get at least decent rng. It only makes it take longer than it needs and potentially making me loose at ericha or erta if i get bad luck. I always rather take items that ll 100% make me finish the run, instead of relying on rng.Īnd again, you can only really bring 2 rares/legendaries + commons/uncommons from the shop. You do not want to be upgrading a Rare-quality item from Level 12 to Level 50 unless you have a bottomless well of Rare components.I have now beat it on hard mode tried to use the hecate didnt like it dont really like muramasa either i was asking him why hes want a reloading gun over a melee weapon. Aldrin's Second Scythe is just not that great, comared to Lara's Magic Wand. The wand has fantastic range, fires through walls, homes in on enemies, and the special is on a quick cooldown. The Scythe does decent damage but feels slow. And search like all get out to find the crafting spec for the next higher rarity level if you can. Take the wand, overall it's a great weapon, and if you get something more powerful it's a fantastic backup weapon. I've found that the better crafting strategy is to upgrade until you're level-blocked (eats a lot of components, btw), then increase the rarity where you can get one more upgrade. If you increase the rarity level, you'll be able to upgrade once before being level-blocked. Looted weapons are whatever they are and you may be able to upgrade those several times before you're level-blocked. This usually adds mod slots, up to the max of six at Legendary, but it doesn't always (RNGesus occasionally gets fumble fingers).Īs a general rule, crafted weapons will appear in your inventory one level below whatever your current level can handle (you can upgrade once before you're level-blocked). The "Crafting" tab, allows you to upgrade the rarity of the weapon (Common -> Uncommon -> Rare -> Epic -> Legendary) IF you have taken the appropriate perk to be able to craft that level of gear AND if you have the appropriate schematic (always the case with Iconic weapons, but not with the rest) AND you have sufficient components of the appropriate rarity level. It's partially tied to your level and you can only upgrade so far, but a Rare (blue) weapon will always remain Rare when upgrading, and the number of mod slots is whatever it was to start, with with mostly the damage stats changing. The "Upgrades" tab raises the stats of a weapon within its current rarity level.
